Black Arts MKE

Black Arts MKE received funding to expand its performing arts, education, and outreach programs that elevate African American representation in Milwaukee. Serving more than 15,000 at-risk youth annually, the organization produces and co-presents African American works, offers paid professional development for artists and students, and leads signature events like Black Nativity and the Milwaukee Black Theater Festival. In 2024, Black Arts MKE celebrated 10 years of providing free and affordable programming for the community.
