CEDU: Center for Democracy in Education

The Centre for Democracy in Education (CEDU) empowers children to become active citizens by promoting democratic school culture, safe classrooms, and civic engagement through school councils. CEDU is expanding its network of majority-Roma schools from 22 to 28, while creating two regional hubs that will serve as peer leaders. This collaborative model will strengthen CEDU’s nationwide network of 1,000+ schools and inform education policy makers on the value of school councils.
