Since establishing its Program Related Investment (PRI) initiative in 1995, the Foundation’s PRI funding —including low-interest loans, loan guarantees, credit enhancements, and equity investments—totals more than $25 million.
One example is Shalem Healing, Inc., which received a PRI to expand its facilities and respond to the expressed needs of Harambee neighbors for accessible health care. Formerly located in Riverwest, Shalem Healing provides integrated medical and holistic care at reduced rates or on a sliding scale based on income.
